Visual Diary

Our school held an excursion to the Sydney Observatory this evening. We arrived

a little early and looked out at the harbour from a nearby gazebo.

Through the modern telescope I saw Saturn!

I took this from outside a friend's place in the suburbs of Sydney

just after sunrise.

You can see Centrepoint Tower in the distance.

The old Mark Foy's Department Store is now called the Downing Centre and is used as a court house. It is on the corner of Castlereagh and Liverpool Streets, Sydney.

My mum would shop here before I was born.

When walking around the city, sometimes the sky can be the only part of nature that is visible.
