Recently I've noticed that Rosie's been growing too large to properly curl up into her shell. I wondered why she wouldn't swap into one of the spare shells in the tank. Perhaps they were too large.
Yesterday I bought a variety of smaller ones and added them to the tank.
Success! A few hours later she had moved into a new shell. I was so excited.
Saw this rabbit in someone's front lawn, on one of my many trips on foot today.
It was a warm autumn day.
These pigeons are standing on the roof, facing the sun.

I visited the local aquarium today to find a heat mat
for my hermit crabs. They didn't sell them unfortunately.
While there I took a few photos of the fish and this turned out the best.
I brought the class hermit crabs home for the holidays. It is autumn, and
cooling down of a night. There are three in the tank. Sam was hiding beneath the wood.
I love watching lorikeets because they are such larrikins.
I find them hard to capture though as they usually perch too high for my A550 to handle. This one is on a lower branch (but still had to delete plenty of blurry ones.)
This neighbour's cat looked like it would pounce onto
something unseen by me, but when it stopped
all it did was smell the leaves.

or today because I like the reflection.
My point was made today when my students spotted this huntsman
feeding on what looks like a cockroach.
I stayed home all day and had difficulty thinking of today's photo. I'd kept some of
Greta's feathers which had moulted, and these became my subject for today.
